Phylllis Crickenberger: Guest Teacher

Phyllis is co-teaching a yupo watercolor class with me at Hawthorne Park in Leesburg, Fl for 3 weeks (Tuesday afternoons). We started on Ground Hog's Day. So we call ourselves the Ground Hog Gang!
About 14 in the group.

(Did you know that there is an official Ground Hog Website?) Bet you are not that surprised!!!!

Both of these are samples of Phyllis' work on Yupo paper (heavy weight). She is a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society.

  1. Somehow I missed your post with all of your framed paintings on the sofa! (Is it me or is it Blogger??) Anyway - they look great framed! Let us know how your interview goes! (Years ago my paintings were on a local early morning newcast, I was thrilled, but not interviewed - apparently they had seen what I look like early in the morning!!!) Seriously, good luck.
The yupo paintings are very nice, and I think it's great you have so many people in your watercolor classes. You go, girl!!

  2. Hahahahaha...love you Deb....we do have a VERY active group here at Hawthorne Park...about 70 people on the Fine Art list!!! We've had a couple of new folks come into the leadership roles lately too and that has sparked more interest, new classes, and interesting events! We are sponsoring a bus trip to Cedar Key Island in April for the annual art festival there. Stuff like that!!!
