I think of this more as a kind of "string" to work off of. I found the idea on Rick and Marie's blog. I do not think they have a name for it. It's just, as I said, a kind of "string" and you can put any tangle design into it that you want to.
I really like the illusion it creates and am having a lot of fun playing around with it. It is highly dependent on the shading.
Yes it is and you have done a beautiful job shading it here. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWonderful work on both of these. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's a great new tangle, especially for those who like linear and line drawing (that's me.) You've done a marvelous job on both of your tiles. They have so much movement and depth.
ReplyDeleteI think the title of your tiles would be a wonderful name for this tangle "Illusion." You should enter it.
ReplyDeleteI must say that I love how you have approached this challenge! I am in awe of your beautiful tangling!
ReplyDeleteindeed an illusion. Both are Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. And yes, it's really like a string because it goes any way you want it to!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful and unique - I love your spin on this challenge!
ReplyDeleteYour approach is fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteYou did an outstanding job on this challenge. My favorite so far. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWow, turn the 1st one upside down and there is Australia with Tasmania at the bottom!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea, perhaps we should all give it a go. Draw the country you live in, turn it upside down and tangle it.
Deletereally love the minimalist look of these. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely work!
ReplyDeleteColumns with growths, straight from the garden, your tiles are very nice.
ReplyDeleteYour tiles are so unique but the second one is lovely and whimsical. Very nice!
